Would you like to help out with the 2009 TBTN??

TAKE BACK THE NIGHT is a tradition in our community.  Each year, the rally features survivor speakers, poets, musicians, local activists and storytellers.   The rally is followed by an empowering march through the streets of Ann Arbor attended by hundreds of roaring students and community members.  As those of us who have attended know, the entire event is a powerful collective experience!

We need lots of creative and resourceful minds to carry out this important gathering!  There are opportunities to work on the publicity, logistics, fundraising and community outreach efforts for TAKE BACK THE NIGHT.  Whatever your interests, there is a place for you on the organizing committee!  Develop your skills while contributing to an important milestone for the University of Mchigan and the Ann Arbor community!   Work on projects such as choosing artists and speakers, design t-shirts, organize a fundraiser, write press announcements, and so much more!  We need YOU!

Are you are an artist and are interested in submitting a TBTN logo, performing at the event or a survivor ready to share your story? Contact us!  Write us at
info@tbtnannarbor.org.

We hope you will become involved in this important annual event!

Join us in making this 31th anniversary TAKE BACK THE NIGHT
the most empowering one yet!
