The Domestic Abuse Handbook was produced by The Women's Resource Center of Northern Michigan, Inc. It defines abuse and gives support, encouragement, and information to survivors and their friends and family members.

WomensLaw.org is a nationwide online resource for women and girls living with or escaping domestic violence. The entire site is set up to provide information on state by state basis on how to obtain a protective order, how to find courthouse, download court forms, legal statutes, and other links and resources.
